Mens Fellowship
The Leaksville Moravian Mens Fellowship meets the 3rd Monday
of every month at the Church or a Host Home at 6:30pm. Feel
free to join us. If your schedule does not allow you to be a part
of our physical meetings and you still would like to be involved
we have an online discussion group that you are more than

It is that time again to begin making our famous chicken pies. The Men’s
Fellowship met on Monday October 13th and with help of members of the
Women’s Fellowship made about 211 pies. These pies were made for the
members of the church. We wanted to ensure that our church members had
a special opportunity to purchase pies for themselves. The pies will be sold
immediately after church service on October 19th & 26th; if there are any
pies remaining on November 2nd . The cost is $9.00 per pie. Please see
Tommy Webb or Mike Hurd if you would like to purchase pies. We will
begin making pies that will be sold at the Candle tea on Monday November
3rd and each Monday in November. Volunteers are needed each night, we
need a few volunteers at 3:oo pm to cut chicken, all others at 5:00 pm to
assemble and package the pies. There will be a light meal provided each
night by Bob Peterson. This is open to all members of the church, we hope
that everyone will come to as many sessions as possible and have some
great fellowship with us. This is our largest fund raiser for the year, our goal
this year is 1000 pies. We are also in need of volunteers to assist at the
Candle Tea. We need assistance with selling pies, assisting our guest to their
cars with packages, and traffic control. We have scheduled a church clean
up on Saturday November 22nd, we will begin at 9:00am. The next
meeting for the Men’s Fellowship will be on Monday November 17th after
the pie making.
